Check the Manufacturers Label 

A lot of clothes nowadays have washing care instructions sewn inside. Try to check on your white linen dress for this if there are any special washing instructions from the maker. There might be instructions wherein you cannot mix your linen with cotton clothes when washing, this is one very effective source of information when taking care of our linen clothing. 

Wash Gently 

If there are no washing care instructions in your dress then we have to wash it gently. Use a mild detergent without bleach and do not twist or wring it since this may damage your linen. If you would like to use a washing machine then try to set it to the lowest spin setting possible. To much pressure applied on the white linen dress can damage it. 

Drying 

Try not to over-dry your white linen dress, since this will make it brittle. One tip when using a machine dryer is to remove it when it is still damp before ironing it. When air drying linen, make sure that it stays flat and smooth. 

Ironing 

Linen is very easy to iron and does not require a lot of force. Just pass the iron over and the creases will disappear. If you need to apply steam or starch then you may do so as well. 

Storing 

Never fold your white linen dresses when you store them. Use a hanger and make sure that the environment is cool and dry.
